Merry Christmas everyone! i can’t believe it’s already Christmas Eve! so many things to be thankful for this year. for our family Christmas dinner, i decided to make some peppermint brownies! i used 1 box of Betty Crocker fudge brownies (followed the directions on the box), added some Andes Peppermint Crunch Baking Chips into the brownie mix, and then sprinkled the finished brownies with some more of the peppermint chips.
speaking of Andes Peppermint Crunch Baking Chips, i juuuust discovered them this year! they are AMAZING! in the past i would have to crush candy canes to get that “cute Christmas-y crushed candy cane look,” and it was a lot of work and left a sticky mess. these goodies are great because you don’t have to do any “crushing” work and they are also super versatile (great in or sprinkled on top of cookies, brownies, cupcakes, hot chocolate, etc.)
i also used these peppermint chips to make peppermint hot chocolate f0r my co-workers and some friends. in a mason jar, i layered Nestle rich hot chocolate, semi-sweet chocolate chips, the Andes peppermint chips, and marshmallows! so cute (and delicious)!
enjoy!
